On 5-6 February 2010 at Ubaya Faculty of Engineering building, Ubaya Informatics Engineering Department Faculty of Engineering organized Informatics Logical Programming Competition (ILPC) 2010 for senior high school students. ILPC intends to deepen high school students’ knowledge about programming.

Universitas Surabaya (Ubaya) organized Good Day Industrial Games XIX for high school SMA at City of Tomorrow mall. The competition held on 4-6 February competes various challenges in industry field. For example, students are challenged to sell products to mall visitors.

A miniature with capacity of 20 kg/hour

Being inspired by his father’s business in salt production, Alexander Edward Tanoko, Ubaya Manufacturing Engineering student designs a salt refiner and drier machine. Alexander claims that his machine is better compared to other similar machines.

Early December, Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, Directorate General of Metal, Machinery Textile and Multifarious held shoe design competition and 3 Ubaya students won the 2nd place.
