Ubaya Informatics Engineering Student won gold and silver medal on The Regional Sport Competition of East Java II/2009

Ubaya students once again achieved great success on sport event. Bambang Onggani, the 2006 informatics engineering student won gold and silver medal on bridge sport at the Regional Sport Competition of East Java II/2009 (Porprov II/2009) held on 5-10 October 2009 in Malang.

Porprov is the most prestigious sport event in East Java province and participated by the best athletes in East Java. There are 20 different sports on Porprov.

The participants of bridge sport were 200 athletes who come from various regencies and part of East Java. On men’s double match, Bambang Onggani who partnered with Firman Zainul won gold medal after eliminating other 42 participants. While, on the mix double, he partnered with Nur Ainia and won silver medal.

Surabaya dominated bridge sport by winning 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal. Malang came second after winning 1 gold medal and Jember came third after winning 2 sliver medals.
