After passing the 3 selection processes that took 4 months, Reden Tanago (Ubaya Informatics engineering student) won the Merit award for Student Project-University category on Indonesia ICT Award (INAICTA) 2009. The award was given on INAICTA award presentation night held on 29 July 2009 at Jakarta Convention Centre.

This year, Ubaya Informatics Engineering students earn very good achievements. Besides being a finalist on INAICTA 2009, they qualified for Open Jive 2009 final round. Open Jive 2009 is the competition that is organized by SUN Microsystem, a Java developer from California, USA
